Dondong’s Dream

Little Paws. Big Dreams. Endless Possibilities.

What if you could see what your dog dreams about?

an original song featuring Junha Na and Sohyun Moon Esion Band

Does your dog dream of flying through the clouds, becoming a fearless warrior, or performing onstage as a famous rockstar? Perhaps they’re exploring magical worlds, chasing impossible adventures, or simply spending another wonderful day with the people they love.

Welcome to Dongdong’s Dream, an imaginative musical adventure where one little dog’s dreams become larger than life!

Featuring an original rock song written by Sohyun Moon Esion and Melkije D Esion, this animated music video takes audiences into the extraordinary imagination of their beloved dog, Dongdong (동동이).

From soaring through the sky to rocking out with a live band, Dongdong discovers a world where anything is possible.

Because even the smallest paws can carry the biggest dreams.

The Little Song That Started Something Big

Long before their marriage and the creation of their ambitious musical project, ARISE! The Musical, Sohyun and Melkije sat down to write their very first song together.

That was four and a half years ago.

With enormous compositions such as “Mirror” and “INFINITive” ahead of them, they decided to begin with something simple, playful, and personal: a song about their beloved dog, Dongdong.

That little song became their first musical collaboration.

Today, Dongdong’s Dream brings that original composition to life with a full rock band, imaginative animation, and a music video celebrating the boundless possibilities of dreaming.

What began as a small expression of love for a family pet has become a celebration of imagination, creativity, and the extraordinary worlds that might exist inside our animals’ dreams.

Bringing Dongdong’s Dreams to Life

What happens when a little dog closes his eyes and falls asleep?

In Dongdong’s world, gravity is optional, adventures are limitless, and a dog can become the star of his very own rock concert!

Filmmaker and editor Seungbu Lim (임승부) combined imaginative animation, AI-assisted visual effects, and footage of real musicians to transform Dongdong’s dreams into a colorful musical adventure.

The song features the Sohyun Moon Esion band, with lead vocals by Junha Na of King’s Studio in Seoul, alongside talented rock musicians whose performances bring energy, humor, and heart to the music.

Every note, lyric, vocal, and instrumental performance was created by real people. Generative AI was used exclusively for visual storytelling, helping transform imaginative ideas into animated adventures.

The result is a playful meeting of human musicianship, creative filmmaking, and a little dog’s extraordinary imagination.
